One of our favorite food festivals of the year just kicked-off at The Deli Restaurant, “Makin’ Bacon.” We are proud to use local Hogs Galore pork products exclusively since 2006. Actually, we were the first restaurant to use their products and helped them start into the business… we’ve enjoyed a great relationship with Jim Mathis and his family ever since.
We strongly believe in knowing where our food comes from and working with local food producers whenever possible. Jim raises his Berkshire Pigs naturally with no growth promoters and/or hormones. Their fresh and smoked products are produced from their farm in Julian, PA. They control the total process from feed to butcher. We even have the pleasure in working with them to develop pork products exclusively to our specifications as with our Dante’s Italian Sausage!
