| Hi-Way Pizza Recipe of the Month
Seafood Marinara Pasta
(serves 4)
24 oz Fettuccine (cooked) or your favorite pasta
10 oz Fresh Shrimp pieces, peeled & deveined (you can also use whole shrimp, or baby shrimp)
8 oz Calamari Rings
8 oz Baby Clams, canned, drained
4 floz Clam Juice (saved from the baby clams)
4 tsp Olive Oil
2 tsp Crushed Garlic Cloves
12 floz Marinara Sauce
to taste Salt and Pepper
1. Cook pasta to al dente and drain well. Do not rinse. Hold aside.
2. Heat a large frying pan until you can feel the heat when you place your hand
aproximately 2" above the pan.
3. Add olive oil and crushed garlic cloves.
4. Add Shrimp and calamari and sautee until the shrimp start to turn pink around the edges.
5. Add the clam juice and baby clams. Saute until heated through.
6. Add the marinara sauce
7. Add salt and papper to taste.
8. Cook for 1 minute or until shrimp pieces are cooked to your liking. Be careful of over cooking, or the calamari will become rubbery.
9. Add cooked pasta to the sauce, and toss together.
10. Place pasta in a bowl and serve immediately!
