We are thrilled to welcome Bill Covaleski, Co-Founder & Owner of Victory Brewing Company to Liberty Craft House on Thrusday, March 30th at 5pm. Mark this event as “interested” or “going” so you wouln’t forget to come have a pint and talk all things Victory and craft beer with Bill.

We’ll tap at least a dozen unique Victory kegs to roll out the red carpet for Bill and offer you many core, seasonal & limited draft only specialties.

Stick around for the tasty live sounds of Ted McCloskey & Molly Countermine at 8pm.

The story of Victory Brewing Company starts on a school bus in 1973 when fifth-graders Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski stepped aboard, on their way to a new school. The two became fast friends and went on to create one of Pennsylvania’s most iconic breweries.

Dogfish Head x Crosley Cruiser Stop

We’re super stoked to welcome our dear friends who brew analogue beers for the digital age on Thursday, March 23rd for a stop in the Dogfish Head Crosley Crusier Tour.

Join us as we tap over a dozen brews from Dogfish Head and celebrate music and more imporatnly the preservation of music and independent record stores. We’ll be featuring Beer To Drink Music ’17 To as well as tapping some rare and occasional brews we’ve had stashed away and saved for a rainy day.

The Crosley Crusier is a 32 foot traveling record and radio memoribelia museum on wheels that will be parked right outisde of our doors inside of which you will be able to walk through and experience listening stations, beer-inspired artwork, and sweet Dogfish/Crosley swag!

We’ll have live vinyl DJs inside spinning records and laying down a killer soundtrack so the vibe will be right to drink to. Ted McCloskey & Molly Counermine will be playing live starting at 8pm!

Stone Enjoy After at Liberty Craft House

Beer Geek Alert! We’re raiding our cellar stash to celebrate Spring Break! Come enjoy a glass of properly cellarded Stone Enjoy After 07.04.16 Brett IPA. We’ve aged this brew for a year and eight months and it’s come time to awaken it and enjoy. Only 20 glasses of this mysterious brew will be up for grabs so act fast!

The price of the ticket will include your enterance into the event and will be offered one complimantary glass of this tasty brew. We’ll only serve it during a 5 hour window from 5pm until 10pm on Wednesday, March 8th.

From Stone…. This IPA is spiked at bottling with Brettanomyces, a wild yeast that, over time, brings about charmingly unpredictable complexities of spice, funk, acidity and more. The operative words in our beer-cellaring thesis are “over time.” For those of you who are impatient or like to experiment, the earliest we recommend sampling this beer is 07.04.15. The beer won’t be fully carbonated until that date. Ideally, you’ll want to cellar the beer up to—or beyond—the Enjoy After date to help it reach its full evolutionary potential. At that point, some facets of the Brett characteristics will have mellowed, while others will have become more profound; it all matures into a fascinating and delicious culmination. Individual results will vary…and that’s both the beauty and the intent behind this beer.

Wednesday, February 22nd from 5-7pm, we welcome our friends from Green Flash Brewing Co. and they are bringing with them some damn tasty brews from their creative Cellar 3 project.
 
Green Flash’s Cellar 3 is 12,000 square feet of space located in Poway, CA dedicated to the art of craft beer innovation through barrel-aging and wild yeast experimentation.

Tröegs First Squeeze at Liberty 1/19/17

We’re thrilled to welcome our friends from Tröegs Independent Brewing for a very special event at Liberty Craft House: Tröegs First Squeeze 2017.
 
Our First Squeeze event will be hosted by some of our crazy Tröegs friends and staff memebers live and direct from their Hersehey headquarters. We are stoked that they will be making the trip up to throw a rockin’ tap event at Liberty once again.
 
This years First Squeeze event has an exciting wrinkle… we’ll be pouring Nugget Nectar three-ways!!!!
 
1. REGULAR – The draft that you know and love. We’ll dial in a 60% C02 / 40% nitrogend blend for.
 
2. NITRO – For the first time Tröegs will keg and ship to us a NITROGINIZED VERSION that we’ll push using 75% Nitrogen and 25% C02.
 
3. CASK – Dry-Hopped and gravity poured right ontop of the bar!
 
Right now, as you are reading this, our firkins are in Hershey at Tröegs Brewery being filled, dry-hopped and cask-conditioned with Nugget Nectar!!!
 
Join us at 5pm as we literally tap a firkin and gravity pour it right on the bar top!
 
We’ll also be giving away some very cool original artist prints that were inspired by Nugget Nectar… we’re talkin’ take these puppies and get them framed!

Happy Valley’s original tutored beer tasting and food pairing event returns to Z Bar in The Deli Restaurant this January 2017!

Meet The Brewery is a weekly tutored tasting hosted by the Z Bar at The Deli Restaurant starting January 11th thru April 26th.  Each week we will feature a new brewery and five selected beers from their brewery.  Brewers and/or brewery representatives will be on hand each week to introduce the beers and give a short talk about their brewery’s history as well as answer questions you might have.  The Deli’s kitchen staff will prepare “tapas” food selections beer of the evening. (This is not a beer dinner)

Many of the nights will feature rare or specially prepared beers for the event, so plan on seeing and learning about cask conditioned beers, taste gravity poured firkins and discover many other tricks we have up our sleeves for this years series.

*Seating preferences are on a first come, first serve basis.
