Mario's has become the Italian tradition in
State College. Mario's offers an extensive menu in unique surroundings.
Mario's was the first restaurant in the area to offer wood fired pizza. These
individual pizzas with their crispy crust and unique toppings have become an
area favorite. In addition, Mario & Luigi's features a wood fired rotisserie
where you can find veal, chicken, lamb or pork roasts on a nightly basis.
Mario's offers a wide assortment of authentic features such as pasta, fresh
seafood, chicken, formula fed veal, entrée salad and other regional
specialties. Featured favorites include Mario's annual garlic festival,
Asparagus festival, mushroom festival and Carnevale.
Mario's has become famous for our original vodka sauce, a delicious tomato cream
sauce that goes perfectly with any pasta. Desserts are a specialty as well,
with selections ranging from Tiramisu to Italian Rum Cake. Our menu derives its
authenticity from the owner, a first generation Italian, who makes annual
pilgrimages to Italy seeking out new food ideas.
